Ian Reynolds
Chairman
Ian has been a keen motorcyclist all his adult life and, when
much younger, spent several years road racing. These two wheeled
sporting activities ceased when family and other commitments
came along, and Ian focused on other things. However, it was
always his intention to try observed trials, and, as road bikes
became increasingly complex, with fuel injection and computers,
and thus hard to fettle in the garage, Ian started trials in
2005 by buying an air cooled twin shock, the simplest motorcycle
possible. Ian remains happy messing around on a Sunday morning
with his bike on the Blue Route. email

Terry Golds
Secretary
Terry bought his first bike in the winter of ’63, an Ambassador,
250 Villiers Twin. And loved it. He fell off for the first time
about 3 hours after he picked it up. So he picked it up twice
that night. He has had a selection of bikes since then and fallen
off most of them! During those first years it was Scrambles
on Sunday, West Ham speedway on Tuesday, Hackney Wick Friday
and clean the bike Saturday. There has always been a bike in
his garage. In 1994 he first took his kids to Motocross at Brill
and away they went, Motocross marshalling every Sunday in the
Eastern Centre for some years until he became SM Centre Secretary,
by that time he was also secretary of Berko club as well. More
recently he have dropped the Centre work and tried to concentrate
on Berko, even riding a trials bike, but still falling off.

Martin Greeves Treasurer
(director of the Ltd Co)
Martin started trials as a Schoolboy at the age of 14 and kept
going till he was about 25, when, as he claims his marriage
stopped play. He then started riding again around the late 1990's.
Martin Claims he would be winning the intermediates regularly
if it wasn’t for those pesky youngsters!! While he is
the Club Treasurer his wife perhaps does most of the hard work.
Martin rides the expert route as Intermediate. E-mail

Dave Porter
Director / Social Secretary (director
of the Ltd Co)
Dave Porter has had a go at most forms of bike sport, he started
grass track sidecar driving back in the mists of time and then
decided he was a better passenger! This led him to have a go
at classic sidecar road-racing, then modern outfits, and then
back to classic and modern. He also went back to grass track
sidecars and in the not too distant past he also had a go at
SOLO trials. He has held several posts in this club and others
as well as serving on ACU committees, but what he really wants
to do is get his road bikes going and take them on a track day,
