If you are a Berkhamsted Motorcycle & Car Club member or a friend
of a member and you wish for your bike or item to be advertised on
this page please email us as much detail about the item as you can.
When you have sold your item or bike please NOTIFY us so we can remove
it. This way you do not continue to get enquiries about the item and
it keeps the for sale board up to date.
Please follow the following guide to selling your item.
1. Supply us with a
photograph of the item and no more than three. Before emailing your
image/images of your item ensure that the resolution of the image
is no more than 72dpi. Computer screens do not see more than 72dpi
and sending a larger file will just add size and thus longer download
time for both sending and receiving not to mention when someone clicks
on the image to view. If an image does not appear in less than 3 seconds
because you have supplied it as a large file format it is likely the
viewer or potential buyer will click elsewhere and NOT have the patience
to wait for it to load on their screen. Please also ensure that your
images are supplied in a Jpeg file format. Please do not send images
saved as; Tiff,Gif,PNG,PSD or any other format. For a tutorial of

of my photos for online use’ or read the tutorials on these

2. Supply us with a
detailed description of your item; remember if it has a good description
you are not likely to be bombed with numerous questions to your email
account.
3. Be truthful, if something is NOT a good runner or has a part missing
or broken state it in the description. Please do NOT waste peoples
time when they come to see your item. Berkhamsted Motorcycle &
Car Club cannot take responsibility of your time wasting.
4. Supply us with your
contact details. Both your email and your telephone numbers and preferred
times of contacts.
5. Supply your description
and contact details in one paragraph and ensure your spelling and
grammar is correct. We do not have the time to edit your descriptions
or write them for you. Here is an example For sale
Montesa 4RT registered August 2007, approx 20 club trials only, excellent
condition but perhaps needs new rear tyre. Includes flat tank original
standard tank included in sale. Some spares. Road registered, Tax
