Membership
Dear Member /Applicant
Information on this page details the main points for membership;
see the club rules for full details.
At the foot of this page are the forms to download for joining or
renewing membership with the Berkhamsted MC & CC Ltd.
Membership application & observer dates, Club Rules, Rules and
Agreement forms for Nash Mills Trials Ground.
As part of your membership you will be required to participate in
the running of the club in a small way by observing at a minimum
of one club event. The observer dates agreement form
MUST be completed and sent back with the application
form.
Membership fee is currently £27.00 per year January 1st to
December 31st. Fees are reviewed every September.
Family members can be enrolled into the club with no charge up
to their 18th birthday. Please supply the full name and date of
birth of any family members with your application.
New members joining in the last quarter of a year (after October
1st) will be deemed to be joining for the remainder of the current
year and the following year as well. An additional fee will be required
to cover the period remaining in the year in which they apply; this
is currently £1 for each month early.
(Add £3 if joining in October, £2 November or £1
December)
Subscription for members includes the club newsletter (the Goat
Herd Gazette) which provides details of forthcoming club events
and general club information. The newsletter is sent by email and
is also posted on the Club website.

Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope (to you) so you can
receive your membership card.
Nash Mills
Members wishing to use the Nash Mills Trials Ground pay a contribution
to insurance as part of their fee (see Club Rules 19 & 20)
A Nash Mills Rules Agreement form MUST be signed and returned to
the Membership Secretary before access can be given or a member
enters the ground for practice.
A Membership option for non-Nash Mills users is available for £17.00
Observer Dates
As a member you will be required to participate in the running
of the club, usually by observing at a minimum of one club event
per year.

The Sporting Motorcyclist
(TSM)
This is the monthly magazine of the South Midland, Southern
& South Eastern Centres of the ACU and includes all details
of forthcoming motorcycle events throughout the South of England
including application forms for events.
If you wish to take out a subscription to The Sporting Motorcyclist
it will cost a further £20.00 annually. Please tick
the box on your membership application form and add the £20
to your total.
Your details will be sent to the magazines subscription department
and copies posted to you.

ACU affiliation (Membership) form
If requested an ACU application form can be sent to you or it can be downloaded
from www.acu.org.uk/ Affiliation
is required to enable you to compete in ACU organized events.
A Berkhamsted MCC member is entitled to ride in an event organized
by any club within the three local ACU centres; South Midland, South
Eastern and Southern (Subject to entry requirements) Riders will
to be asked to produce their ACU card at signing on.
Once completed the ACU application must be sent to the Membership
Secretary to confirm Club membership before forwarding to the ACU.
Once processed, the ACU will return your licence directly.
